FAQ Early Years Programme

How do I enroll my child in the Summer School?

Registrations for Summer School of 2025 are not yet open.

Can my child attend half days or partial weeks?

Registration is based on the full week regardless of how many days your child attends.

What is a typical day like at Summer School?

8:15am-9:00am

Drop off

On the first day, children will be fitted with an identification bracelet which SHOULD NOT be removed until the end of Summer School.

9am-3pm

Summer School activities

10am

Snack

12:00pm – 1:00pm

Lunch

3pm

Last activity of the day finishes

Snack

Is food provided?

Yes.

Two snacks and lunch, are included in the Summer School fees.

Morning and afternoon snack will always include a piece of fruit, plus another item such as a yoghurt, a pack of juice, milk, a sandwich, a muffin, a cereal bar or a pack of biscuits

Lunch at school will have a vegetarian option for parents who indicated the preference on the registration form.

Please note that on days that the activity is outside the school, and the return to camp is after lunch, the meal will be a packed lunch.

Please bring a refillable water bottle: the school provides water-refilling stations.

What should the children bring to school everyday?

The Summer school is an activity/sports camp so children should dress accordingly. Comfortable clothing and shoes should allow children to participate in a wide variety of activities.

Please apply sunscreen on your child before they arrive at camp.

Each child should bring the following items to camp daily:

Backpack

Identification bracelet (provided on the 1st day at summer school)

Hat

Refillable water bottle

Bathing suit, towel and flip-flops

Sunscreen

Change of clothes

Jacket

Mobile phones and electronic devices are NOT to be used during Summer School

Clearly LABEL all items

Where do I drop off and pick up my child?

At the school’s main gate.

Do you provide transportation to/from Summer School?

School transportation is not available for the duration of summer school.

Health concerns and medication

All health/alergies/dietary restriction/special needs conditions are required to be clearly identified in the Summer School Registration Form.

Any medication must be accompanied by the doctor’s prescription and administration guidelines, and be delivered to the staff at the gate upon arrival. Please do not send medication in your child’s backpack.

Administration of medication will be done by the school nurse.

If my child is sick or injured can they still participate in the program?

If your child is sick we ask that you keep him/her home for the day to allow time for rest and healing, and inform the school.

If you child has an injury that will keep him/her from participating in some activities, please inform the Summer School staff in charge.
